About CESTC 2010

The 9-th Central European Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry (CESTC 2010) will take place in Nový Smokovec, which is located directly in the center of High Tatras in the north of Slovakia. The conference will last from 12th to 15th September 2010. We expect participants mainly from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. A limited number of participants from other countries will be personally invited.

Presentations

Following the tradition of the conference, there will be two plenary lectures for each of the participating countries and a number of short oral lectures. The number of oral presentations is limited. Poster presentations can be given in poster sessions facilitating time for scientific discussions. Participants who want to give an oral or poster presentation are asked to register and specify their presentation title via the registration page. In continuation of the tradition of this meeting, the number of oral presentations should be evenly distributed among the participating countries. In case of overbooking, the organizers plan to select lectures from the submitted contributions in accordance with the national coordinators of the above mentioned countries.

Student poster prize

Students - authors of the best poster in each session will be awarded a prize. Posters will be evaluated by the national coordinators based on scientific value and form of presentation.
